In Washington, left fielder Joc Pederson rocketed 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI at Federals Park as the Washington Federals pulled off a dramatic comeback beating the Toledo Mud Hens by the count of 14 to 13.

Jordan Romano(2-0) went 2/3 of an inning allowing 3 runs for the win. Gregory Soto(1-1) was charged with the loss in relief. He gave up 3 hits and no walks without retiring a batter.
'It's just about getting in a good hitting position and just going out there and being prepared,' Pederson said. 'You try to hit in your own capacity and not do too much. I just try to have a good approach, day after day, game by game, and pitch by pitch.'
