Bisons Score 5 in 9th to Spoil Black Panther's Party; Sluggers Draw 5 Walks in 9th to Walk-Off Blue

Oakland (UBAN) - Davis Schneider homered and had 2 RBI at Black Panther Park as the Buffalo Bisons won in dramatic fashion coming back to beat the Oakland Black Panthers by the count of 6 to 4.
Buffalo came up with the deciding runs in the 9th inning when they scored 5 runs on 5 hits. The key offensive moment was provided by Steven Kwan who deflated the spirits of the home town crowd when he doubled bringing home two baserunners giving the Bisons the winning margin. For the game Buffalo out-hit Oakland 11 to 8.
The win went to Dylan Covey(1-3) who allowed no runs in 2/3 of an inning. Covey got help from Tyler Rogers* who earned his 7th save. Mark Leiter(1-2) took the loss in relief.
After the game, it took a long while before Frank Robinson emerged from his office. In a subdued tone he answered only a couple of questions. He concluded with, 'Fellows, sorry I'm not in a very talkative mood this afternoon, as I think you'll understand. I'm sure you'll find the banter a lot more light-hearted over in the Buffalo locker room.'
It was a great finish at Sluggers Park as the Louisville Sluggers pulled off a dramatic comeback beating the New Orleans Blues by the count of 4 to 3.
Louisville came through with the game-winning runs in the 9th inning with 2 runs. After an out was recorded, Ildemaro Vargas got things going when he drew a walk. Victor Caratini stepped into the batter's box and he drew a walk. Brendan Donovan then drew a walk to load the bases. Tommy Edman came up and he drew a walk which plated a run. One out later, Anthony Santander came up and he drew a walk giving Louisville the win as 49,270 happy fans joyfully celebrated. Louisville finished with 7 hits in the victory.
Kevin Ginkel(2-0) was the winner allowing 1 run in 1 and 1/3 innings. Bryan
Abreu(4-2) was the loser in relief. He gave up 2 runs and no hits in 2/3 of
an inning.
