Senga Strikes Out 13 as 'Ghenys Stifles Sluggers; Sounds Topple Braves in 11

Louisville (UBAN) - Kodai Senga mowed down 13 Louisville batters and Adam Duvall left the yard and
had 6 RBI as the Pittsburgh Alleghenys bested the Louisville Sluggers 7 to 0 at Sluggers Park.
Duvall provided much of the offense. He slapped a one-base hit which was good for two runs in the 4th inning and smacked a three-run homer in the 5th inning. Pittsburgh finished with 7 hits in the victory.
Senga(5-7) went 8 innings allowing no runs for the win. Ryan Helsley(2-2) was charged with the loss in relief. 'I had my good stuff tonight.' Senga said. 'As the game went along I started to get the feeling that I was going to strike out a bunch of hitters.'
In an entertaining game at Sounds Field the final score was the Nashville Sounds 5, the San Diego Braves 2 in 11 innings.
The score was tied at 2 after nine. Nashville won the game in the 11th inning. After two were out Edouard Julien initiated the scoring spurt when he drew a walk. Dominic Canzone stepped into the batter's box and he rifled a three-run blast giving Nashville the victory as 19,385 happy fans
celebrated wildly. Nashville had only 6 hits for the night.
The win was credited to Tristan Beck(3-2) who went 3 and 1/3 innings allowing no runs. Jeff Brigham (1-2) was tagged with the loss in relief. He allowed 3 runs and 1 hit in 2/3 of an inning.
