Bieber Bests Bibee in Jacksonville; Seals Collect 20 Hits in Slugfest in St. Louis

Jacksonville (UBAN) - Shane Bieber went 7 solid innings and Nolan Arenado jacked one out of the ballyard and had 2 RBI as the Kansas City Monarchs topped the Jacksonville Jacks by a score of 4 to 1 at Jacks Field.

Kansas City went ahead for good in the top of the 6th inning scoring a single run. Jacksonville was out-hit by Kansas City, 7 hits to 4.

The victory went to Bieber(2-9) who went 7 innings, allowing 1 run. Jimmy Cordero preserved the game for Bieber, recording his his 1st save. Tanner Bibee(6-5) was the losing pitcher. He allowed just 2 runs and 4 hits in 7 innings.

Jose Ramirez had 4 hits and 3 RBI as the San Francisco Seals defeated the St. Louis Browns 12 to 7 at Sportsman's Park.

Tommy Henry(3-3) got the win despite looking shaky at times. He gave up 8 hits and 1 walk in 5 innings and surrendered 2 homeruns. San Francisco lit up the scoreboard in the 1st inning when they had 4 runs on 5 hits. San Francisco finished with 20 hits while St. Louis ended up with 11.

Aaron Civale(4-5) was the loser. He was not very effective, surrendering 7 runs in 6 innings.
