Saints Score 6 in 10th to Subdue Blues; 'Lemurs Rally in 9th to Edge Wranglers

New Orleans (UBAN) - Trea Turner had 2 base hits and 4 RBI as the Salt Lake City Saints defeated the New Orleans Blues in 10 innings by the score of 10 to 5 at The House of Blues.
The game was deadlocked at 4 after nine full innings. Salt Lake City was victorious in the 10th inning when they tallied six runs. The highlight belonged to Turner who silenced the stadium when he tripled with all three runners coming home. New Orleans was out-hit by Salt Lake City, 14 hits to 10.
Caleb Ferguson(2-2) was the winner allowing 2 runs in 1 and 2/3 innings. Bryan Abreu(4-4) absorbed the loss in relief. He surrendered 2 hits and 1 walk in 2/3 of an inning.
In a thriller the Vancouver Death Lemurs staged a dramatic comeback then held on to win over the San Antonio Wranglers by a score of 4 to 3 at Wranglers Park.
Vancouver had the game winning rally in the top of the 9th inning with 3 runs on 3 base hits. Spencer Torkelson kicked off the action when he doubled. Luis Rengifo came next and he drew a walk. Jeimer Candelario then belted a three-run homer. Vancouver managed only 6 hits on the night.
James Karinchak(3-1) went 2/3 of an inning allowing 1 run for the win. A.J. Puk earned his 8th save. Kyle Finnegan(2-1) was tagged with the loss in relief. Vancouver scored big getting 3 runs off him in 2 innings.
