Elites' Paredes Slams Jacks in Overtime; Otters Complete Sweep of Colts in Dallas

Baltimore (UBAN) - Isaac Paredes cleared three ducks from a very crowded pond with a grand slam at Roy Campanella Field where the Baltimore Elite Giants beat the struggling Jacksonville Jacks in 11 innings by the score of 8 to 5.
Both teams were tied at 4 runs apiece after nine innings. Finally, Baltimore pulled the game out in the 11th inning. The biggest moment was provided by Paredes who brought the crowd to their feet when he electrified the crowd with a Grand Slam home run. Baltimore out-hit Jacksonville for the game, 12
hits to 8.
The win was credited to Robert Suarez(2-0) who went 1 inning allowing 1 run. Austin Pruitt(1-1) was the losing pitcher in relief.
Tyler Glasnow retired 13 batters on strikeouts as the Chicago Otters topped the Dallas Colts by a score of 10 to 5 at Globe Life Field.
Glasnow(5-7) gave Chicago a solid outing. He allowed just 7 hits and 1 walk in 8 innings. Chicago had 13 hits overall, while Dallas had 10.
Joey Wentz(2-7) was tagged with the loss. He served up 3 gopher balls in 1 and 2/3 innings. 'I had my good stuff tonight.' Glasnow said. 'As the game went along I started to get the feeling that I was going to strike out a bunch of hitters.'
