San Diego (UBAN) - Bobby Witt Jr had 2 base hits as the San Diego Braves outscored the St. Louis Browns in 12 innings 4 to 3.
The score was tied at 3 after nine. San Diego ended up winning it in the 12th inning. After an out was recorded, Austin Wynns ripped a base-knock making San Diego the victor and beginning a joyous home town celebration. San Diego out-hit St. Louis for the game, 8 hits to 5.
The win was credited to Ryan Pepiot(4-2) who went 2 innings allowing no runs. Brent Suter(2-2) was the loser in relief. It was a tough loss for him as he did not allow an earned run in his 1 and 1/3 innings of work.
Gleyber Torres slammed a homerun and had 2 RBI and Logan Gilbert racked up an impressive total of 11 strikeouts at Truist Park as the red-hot San Antonio Wranglers beat the Atlanta Chiefs in 11 innings by the count of 10 to 9.

Adam Ottavino(1-3) went 1 inning allowing 2 runs for the victory. Ryan Thompson gained credit for his 1st save. Clay Holmes(1-1) was the losing pitcher in relief. He pitched 1 inning and surrendered 2 hits and 1 walk.
San Antonio continued on their recent roll, their winning streak now reaching 8 games and counting. John Lennon was upset but philosophical about the loss. 'Sometimes you run into a team that's on a roll. This was one of those times.'
