It Takes 11 Innings, But Seals Make it 8 Straight; Braves Get By Islanders in 10

San Francisco (UBAN) - Second baseman Ramon Urias had 2 base hits and 3 RBI as the seemingly unstoppable San Francisco Seals defeated the Vancouver Death Lemurs in 11 innings by a score of 5 to 4 at Seals Park.
Both teams had scored 1 runs after nine full innings. Finally, San Francisco pulled the game out in the 11th inning. The key offensive moment was provided by Urias who brought a roar from the partisan Seals Park fans when he doubled emptying the bases. The game was a scoreless duel until the 7th
inning.
Alexis Diaz(3-2) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 1/3 of an inning. A.J. Puk(6-6) was hit with the loss in relief. He gave up 3 hits and 1 walk without retiring a batter.
