Sounds Make the Right Call, Edge Blues in the Big Easy; Otters Score 3 in 16th to Down Highlanders

New Orleans (UBAN) - Left fielder Alex Call smacked 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI at The House of Blues as the Nashville Sounds beat the New Orleans Blues 6 to 5.
Nashville won the game with a run in the 9th inning. After an out was recorded, Call smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly'. This was a game of many highs and lows for the home town fans, as the lead kept changing - 5 times in all.
The victory went to Peter Strzelecki(3-1) who went 1 and 1/3 innings, allowing 1 run. Jhoan Duran was credited with his 12th save. Shelby Miller(2-2) was the loser in relief.
James Outman touched them all and scored 3 times at Babe Ruth Park as the Chicago Otters beat the New York Highlanders in 16 innings 7 to 4.
The game was deadlocked at 3 after nine full innings. Finally, Chicago pulled the game out in the 16th inning. After two were out Ezequiel Tovar keyed the rally when he doubled bringing in a run. Javier Baez came next and he was walked intentionally. Francisco Mejia then doubled as another two runners scored. It was roller coaster of a game as the lead change hands 5 times.
Bryse Wilson(4-4) allowed no runs in 3 innings, and picked up the victory. Ryan Borucki(0-2) took the loss in relief. He was a hard-luck loser as he did not allow an earned run in his 3 innings of work.
