Washington (UBAN) -
West....... 3 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 - 5 8 1

In a game marked by uncharacteristically rough first innings for each of the starting pitchers, the East All Stars once again got by the West All Stars at Federals Park. The final score was 7 to 5.
The West asted little time in getting to Miami's Max Fried in the top of the first, parlaying 2 hits, 3 walks and a Ha-Seong Kim error into 3 runs. The East responded against Sonny Gray of San Antonio, collecting fours hits and a walk and scoring 4 times. The key blow was a two-run double by Memphis;' Rafael Devers.
The West tied the game in the top of the fourth inning. Gleyber Torres of San Antonio doubled down the right field line and two batters later, Chicago's Corey Seager - leading the UBA in batting - doubled into the gap in rightcenter drving him home. The East regained the lead in the bottom half of the sixth. Hometown hero Salvadore Perez singled into left field and later scored on a two-out double by Milwaukee's Bryan Reynolds. An inning later, Pittsburgh's Marcus Semien put the game on ice for the victors, belting the game's only homerun, and driving in New Orleans' Spencer Steer ahead of him.
Louisville's Brusdar Graterol(1-0) was solid in relief, and he got credit for the win. He gave up just 1 hit and no walks in 1 inning. Emmanuel Clase of Baltimore earned the save with a perfect ninth, his 1st save. LA's Michael King(0-1) was the losing pitcher in relief. He allowed 2 hits and no walks in 1 inning of work.
