Chiefs Rally to Nip Marauders, Reclaim 1st in Atlantic; Knights Take Two from Islanders

Memphis (UBAN) - Taylor Ward had 2 base hits as the Atlanta Chiefs defeated the Memphis Marauders by the score of 4 to 2 at Marauders Park.
Atlanta delivered all the runs required in the 6th inning when they came up with 4 runs on 1 hit. Memphis was set down quietly in the bottom of the 9th.
The win went to Eduardo Rodriguez(8-5) who allowed 2 runs in 5 innings. Rodriguez was helped out by Abner Uribe who recorded his 1st save. Clarke Schmidt(4-8) absorbed the loss. He gave up 3 hits and 2 walks in 5 innings.

In the 6th inning Seattle scored 3 runs with the help of 4 hits. The biggest moment was provided by Paul Goldschmidt who helped quiet the crowd when he popped a two-run clout over the fence. Seattle ended up with 13 hits for the game while Hawaii had 8.
