Seager, German Send Saints Packing; Marauders Rally to Tie in 8, Walk-Off 'Ghenys in 9

Chicago (UBAN) - Domingo German pitched 8 strong innings as the Chicago Otters defeated the Salt Lake City Saints 6 to 1 at Otter Park.
Corey Seager provided much of the offense. He laced a single in the 3rd inning, smashed a solo-shot out of the park in the 5th inning and doubled which was good for two runs in the 7th inning. Chicago rapped out 12 hits for the night.
German(9-5) went 8 innings allowing 1 run for the win. Brayan Bello(4-7) ended up with the loss. He surrendered 9 hits and 1 walk in 6 innings.
Memphis Marauders broke the deadlock in their last at bats, pulling out a 4 to 3 win over the Pittsburgh Alleghenys and sending their hometown fans home smiling.
The game was won by Memphis with a run in the 9th inning. Brendan Rodgers drew a walk. Matt Vierling was next and he delivered a single. Ketel Marte then doubled resulting in an exciting win for Memphis and a raucous post-game celebration by the home town fans. Overall Memphis out-hit Pittsburgh 10 to 4.
The win was credited to Ryan Walker(4-2) who went 2 innings allowing no runs. Ben Heller(0-1) was hit with the loss in relief.
