Baddoo's 5 hits, 3 HRs Pace Islanders in Rout of 'Horns; Feds, Faedo Blank Aguilas Doradas

Honolulu (UBAN) - Left fielder Akil Baddoo ripped 3 homeruns and Jordan Lyles went 7 strong innings as the Hawaii Islanders really laid it on the Indianapolis Longhorns 15 to 1.
Baddoo had a big evening at the plate. He doubled in the 2nd inning, smashed a solo-shot out of the park in the 4th inning, ripped a base-knock in the 6th inning, hit a 'grand salami' to the delight of his teammates in the 7th inning and lofted a solo-blast 'downtown' in the 8th inning. Hawaii kept the
scorekeepers busy in the 7th inning which saw them score 7 runs on 7 hits. Indianapolis was out-hit by Hawaii, 21 hits to 5.
Lyles(7-8) went 7 innings allowing no runs for the win. Miles Mikolas(9-7) was the losing pitcher. He gave up 9 runs in 6 innings of work.
Alex Faedo(2-4)with help from the bullpen whitewashed Mexico City while the Washington Federals scored 5 runs in a day game at El Nido de Aguilas.
In the top of the 4th inning Washington went on top for good plating an isolated run using 2 hits. Mexico City was out-hit by Washington, 16 hits to 5.
Lucas Sims gained credit for his 2nd save. Jose Berrios(9-6) was the loser. He pitched 5 and 1/3 innings allowing 11 hits and 1 walk.
