Naylor Base Hit Brings Braves a Walk-Off Win; Colts Come From Way Back to Hook Marlins

San Diego (UBAN) - In an great finish the San Diego Braves won in dramatic fashion over the Vancouver Death Lemurs by a score of 4 to 3 at PETCO Park.
San Diego had the winning rally in the 9th inning with 2 runs on 2 hits. Alex Bregman led off the inning for San Diego when he reached on an error. Remillard got a great jump and stole second easily. After an out was recorded, Ryan O'Hearn then slapped a one-base hit. San Diego continued their aggressive style with another stolen base. Bo Naylor stepped into the box and stroked a base-hit resulting in an exciting win for San Diego and a wild post-game celebration by the home town fans. Despite losing, Vancouver out-hit San Diego 10 to 6.
The victory was credited to Michael Rucker(2-2) who went 3 innings, allowing no runs. Jeff Hoffman(5-3) was given the loss in relief.
'Now that is what I call fun! I just love baseball, especially games like this, of course,' Jimy Williams offered. 'Everyone at the stadium had a great time - did you see the fans go wild there at the end?!'
Charlie Blackmon left the yard and had 4 RBI at Marlins Park as the Dallas Colts beat the Miami Marlins in 11 innings 10 to 8.
Both teams were tied at 7 runs apiece after nine innings. Dallas came out the victor in the 11th inning. Elias Diaz kicked off the action when he ripped a one-base hit. Matt Chapman was next to the plate, but was promptly struck out. Blackmon then doubled scoring two teammates. Dallas had 12 hits overall, while Miami had 9.
The win went to Pete Fairbanks(4-1) who allowed no runs in 2 innings. Devin Williams(2-4) was tagged with the loss in relief. Despite the loss, he struckout 4 Dallas batters in 1 and 2/3 innings.
