Diaz 2-Homer Day Lifts Islanders Over Braves; Muncy Roundtrippers Trip Wranglers

San Diego (UBAN) - Yandy Diaz blasted 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI at PETCO Park as the Hawaii Islanders won in dramatic fashion coming back to beat the San Diego Braves by the count of 9 to 6.
Hawaii won the game with a rally in the top of the 9th inning when they scored 4 runs on 3 hits. The crucial at-bat was provided by Diaz who deflated the crowd as he bombed a two-run dinger. This was a game of many highs and lows for the home town fans, as the lead kept changing - 5 times in all.
The victory went to Andrew Chafin(2-2) who went 2 innings, allowing 1 run. Kendall Graveman preserved the game for Chafin, recording his his 4th save. Joey Krehbiel(2-1) was given the loss in relief.
Max Muncy rocketed 2 homeruns and scored 3 times at Wranglers Park where the Miami Marlins beat the San Antonio Wranglers by the score of 10 to 5.
Muncy led the offense for Miami. He clubbed a solo home run in the 2nd inning and hit a bases-empty home run in the 4th inning. Miami had 8 hits for the night.
The victory was credited to Trevor May(2-2) who went 2 and 1/3 innings, allowing no runs. Charlie Morton(8-9) suffered the loss. He served up 4 homeruns in his 5 and 2/3 innings.
With this win, Miami has a 61-46 record. They have been 6-4 lately. With the loss, San Antonio has a record of 5-5 lately, 64-42 overall.
