Yaz, Chiefs Overpower Blues; Wranglers Walk Then Walk-Off Marlins

New Orleans (UBAN) - Mike Yastrzemski went deep and had 4 RBI as the Atlanta Chiefs bested the New Orleans Blues 10 to 7 at The House of Blues.
Atlanta had the winning rally in the 8th inning plating 3 runs on 3 hits. Jurickson Profar led off and started the rally when he drew a walk. Harold Castro was the next batter, but he struck out. Pavin Smith then doubled. One out later, Tucker Barnhart came to bat and doubled driving in two more baserunners. Ha-Seong Kim came up to bat and drew a walk. Yastrzemski joined his teammates in the uprising and ripped a base-hit scoring the final run of the inning. Atlanta had 11 hits for the game and New Orleans had 8.
The win was credited to Graham Ashcraft(6-7) who went 8 innings allowing 7 runs. Will Smith was credited with his 19th save. Kyle Hendricks(13-4) was charged with the loss. Atlanta scored big getting 9 runs off him in 7 and 1/3 innings.
Wth the win Atlanta now has a record of 59-49. With this loss, New Orleans has a 6-4 record of late, 66-42 overall.
Manny Machado had 2 base hits as the San Antonio Wranglers pulled out a win over the Miami Marlins by a score of 5 to 4 at Wranglers Park.
San Antonio scored the deciding run in the bottom of the 9th inning. Mitch Garver drew a walk. Dansby Swanson next to the plate and he drew a walk. Brenton Doyle then reached on an error giving San Antonio the win much to the delight of the home town crowd. San Antonio managed 8 hits in their victory.
Adam Ottavino(2-4) went 1 inning allowing 2 runs for the win. Taylor Rogers(2-2) took the loss in relief. He was a hard-luck loser as he did not allow an earned run in his 1 and 1/3 innings of work.
