Stars Win in Last AB on Davis Double; LeMahieu Lifts LA with Walk-Off Single

Milwaukee (UBAN) - In an great finish the Milwaukee Stars won in dramatic fashion over the Toledo Mud Hens by a score of 4 to 3 at Miller Park.
Milwaukee had the game winning rally in the 9th inning with 2 runs using 2 hits. Donovan Solano led off and got things going when he drew a walk. Bryan Reynolds next to the plate and he slapped a one-base hit. Lane Thomas struck out, unable to help the rally. One out later, Reynolds was safe at
second on a stolen base. Aaron Hicks came up to bat and was walked intentionally to load the bases. J.D. Davis added his contribution to the rally and doubled giving Milwaukee the win and sending the home town fans into a frenzy. Milwaukee finished with just 6 hits in the victory.
David Robertson(2-4) got credit for the victory, pitching 1 inning and allowing no runs. Gregory Soto(6-4) absorbed the loss in relief.
Victor Robles had 2 base hits as the Los Angeles Angels won a dandy at Angel Stadium over the Louisville Sluggers, 2 to 1.
The game was won by Los Angeles when they scored a run in the 9th inning. Liover Peguero delivered a base-hit. Jose Trevino was next to the plate, but was promptly struck out. Robles then slapped a single. D.J. Lemahieu came up and he laced a one-base hit giving Los Angeles the victory as 49,970 happy fans celebrated wildly. For the game Los Angeles out-hit Louisville 9 to 6.
The victory went to Will Vest(2-2) who went 2 innings, allowing no runs. Jason Foley(1-4) suffered the loss in relief. He pitched 2 innings and surrendered 3 hits and no walks.
