Vogelbach Leads Colts Over Longhorns in 11; Heim Singles Marauders Past Feds in 10

Indianapolis (UBAN)- 40,178 fans watched an exciting game at Longhorn Stadium. The Dallas Colts topped the league door-mat Indianapolis Longhorns by the slimmest of margins, 6 to 5.
Both teams were tied at 5 runs apiece after nine innings. Dallas came out on top in the 11th inning. After two outs Dan Vogelbach lined a base-hit scoring the run. Dallas had only 6 hits for the night.
The victory was credited to Chasen Shreve(5-5) who went 1 inning, allowing no runs. Adbert Alzolay recorded the save, his 2nd. Trevor Stephan(1-7) was given the loss in relief. He was pinned with the loss despite not allowing an earned run in his 1 and 2/3 innings of work.
Masataka Yoshida blasted a homerun and had 2 RBI as the Memphis Marauders topped the dreadful Washington Federals in 10 innings by a score of 5 to 4 at Marauders Park.
Both teams had scored 4 runs after nine full innings. Finally, Memphis pulled the game out in the 10th inning. Eloy Jimenez singled. Brent Rooker struck out, unable to help the rally. Pete Alonso then drew a walk to load the bases. Jonah Heim was up next and he delivered a base-hit making Memphis the winners and sending the 26,018 fans home happy. Memphis had 13 hits overall, while Washington had 7.
Reynaldo Lopez(3-1) got credit for the victory, pitching 1 and 2/3 innings and allowing no runs. Michael Kelly(2-3) was the losing pitcher in relief.
