Angels Rally in 9th to Salvage One Win in Seattle; 'Lemurs Roar Back to Down Longhorns in 11

Seattle (UBAN) - The Los Angeles Angels came roaring back in the top of the ninth to spoil the anticipated celebration of the hometown fans. The final score was 6 to 5.
Los Angeles came up with the deciding runs in the top of the 9th inning with 2 runs on 3 hits. After an out was recorded, Liover Peguero got things rolling when he smacked a single. Adam Frazier followed and he stroked a base-hit. Frazier got a good lead and stole second. D.J. Lemahieu was up next and he banged out a single driving in two more baserunners. Los Angeles had a total of 9 hits for the game.
Andres Munoz(2-3) got credit for the victory, pitching 1 and 1/3 innings and allowing no runs. Jordan Romano(6-2) was tagged with the loss in relief.
Romano was feeling apologetic in the locker room, 'I sure let that one get away. What a miserable feeling to let the guys down; and our fans. One minute things are looking great, then. BOOM, it's over with! I just hope I get a chance to redeem myself real soon!'
Zack Gelof blasted a homerun and scored 3 times as the Vancouver Death Lemurs defeated the lifeless Indianapolis Longhorns in 11 innings by the score of 7 to 5 at Longhorn Stadium.
The score was knotted at 5 after nine innings. Vancouver won it in the 11th inning. Jeimer Candelario kicked off the action when he bombed a two-run dinger. Vancouver had 11 hits for the night while Indianapolis had 8.
Jeff Hoffman(6-3) allowed no runs in 3 innings, and picked up the victory. A.J. Puk got the save, his 16th. Angel Zerpa(3-1) was the loser in relief.
