Otters Slip by Stars on Outman 9th Inning HR; Highlanders Edge Braves on Strength of Strider's 16 K

Milwaukee (UBAN) - Bryse Wilson(5-5) got credit for the win at Miller Park as the Chicago Otters shutout the Milwaukee Stars 1 to 0.
The game was decided in the 9th inning. After an out was recorded, James Outman smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly'. Overall Chicago out-hit Milwaukee 6 to 2.
David Robertson(2-5) took the loss in relief. He gave up 1 hit and no walks in 1 inning.
Gabriel Arias had 2 base hits and Spencer Strider mowed down 16 San Diego batters at PETCO Park where the New York Highlanders beat the San Diego Braves 2 to 1.
Strider(15-5) contributed a very nicely pitched game. He didn't allow much, just 7 hits and 2 walks in 8 innings. New York had only 6 hits for the afternoon.
Justin Lawrence got the save, his 23rd. Gerrit Cole(14-4) ended up with the loss. Despite the loss, he struckout 10 New York batters in 6 and 1/3 innings.
'I had my good stuff today.' Strider said. 'As the game went along I started to get the feeling that I was going to strike out a bunch of hitters.'
