Gilbert Fans 13 as Wranglers Tame Highlanders; 7-Run 5th Helps Keep Marauders in Play-Off Hunt

San Antonio (UBAN) - In a game between potential UBA finalists, Logan Gilbert struck out 13 batters and Seiya Suzuki had 4 hits and 3 RBI as the San Antonio Wranglers defeated the New York Highlanders by a score of 4 to 0 at Wranglers Park.
Gilbert(15-6) dominated New York hitters. He allowed just 4 hits and no walks in 8 innings. San Antonio out-hit New York for the game, 10 hits to 4.
The losing pitcher was Griffin Canning(10-6). Everyone seemed to enjoy the performance of Gilbert - except New York. Eddie Murray lamented, 'He just was 'on' tonight. He was keeping our guys off balance all game. A fine game by a good strikeout pitcher - makes it a fun game for the hometown fans - unfortunately we were the visitors!'
