Bubic Shuts Down Otters as Jacks Win 8th Straight; Seals Edge Wranglers in 10 Inning Thriller

Chicago (UBAN) - Right fielder Corbin Carroll blasted a homerun and had 2 RBI and Kris Bubic took a no-hitter into the 7th inning as the seemingly unstoppable Jacksonville Jacks outscored the Chicago Otters 2 to 0.
Bubic(1-0) dominated Chicago hitters. He didn't allow much, just 1 hit and no walks in 7 innings. The left-handed Bubic had his no-hit bid broken up by Leody Taveras who singled with nobody out in the 7th inning. Neither team managed to score after the 3rd inning.
Wandy Peralta recorded his 11th save. Corbin Burnes(12-6) took the loss. He allowed just 2 runs and 5 hits in 8 innings.
Raisel Iglesias(4-3) got credit for the win at Wranglers Park as the San Francisco Seals shutout the San Antonio Wranglers in 10 innings 1 to 0.
The score was knotted at zero after nine innings. San Francisco won the hard fought contest in the 10th inning. After an out was recorded, De La Cruz proceeded to steal third base. One out later, Devin Williams then threw a wild pitch scoring the run. San Francisco had only 3 hits for the night.
Williams(3-5) was the loser in relief. It was a tough loss for him as he did not allow an earned run in his 2 innings of work.
Wth the win San Francisco now has a record of 75-47. With the loss San Antonio now has a record of 74-48.
