Chiefs Topple Elites Again, Regain First Place; Seals Make it Two out of Three in San Antonio

Atlanta (UBAN)- The Atlanta Chiefs bested the Baltimore Elite Giants by a 6 to 2 score at Truist Park to take three out of four from Baltimore in the weekend series and move back into first place in the Atlantic Division.
Atlanta tallied 3 runs in the bottom of the 4th inning when they came up with 3 base hits. They would hold up as the winning runs. For the game Atlanta out-hit Baltimore 9 to 4.
The win was credited to Andrew Abbott(8-5) who went 8 innings allowing 2 runs. The loss was charged to Rich Hill(9-9). He was unable to control the Atlanta offense and allowed 6 hits and 2 walks in 3 innings.
First baseman Bryce Harper cracked a homer and had 2 RBI at Wranglers Park where the San Francisco Seals beat the San Antonio Wranglers 9 to 5.
Colin Poche(2-2) was called upon to do the job in relief and he was the winning pitcher. He was reached for 3 hits and no walks in 2 and 1/3 innings. San Francisco had 12 hits for the afternoon.
Darius Vines(0-1) was the loser in relief. He served up 3 homeruns in his 2 and 1/3 innings.
