Highlanders, Knights Reach 80 Wins as O'Neill, Suarez Pave the Way

New York (UBAN) - New York Highlanders won a dramatic crowd-pleaser over Salt Lake City Saints at Babe Ruth Park pulling it out in their last at bats, 6 to 5.
The deciding run was scored by New York in the 9th. Tyler O'Neill hit a bases-empty home run giving New York the victory and sending the 48,211 home-town fans home happy. New York and Salt Lake City each finished the night with 7 hits.
Justin Lawrence(1-1) went 1 inning allowing no runs for the win. Caleb Ferguson(3-5) was the loser in relief. He allowed 2 hits and no walks in 1 inning.
Eugenio Suarez homered and had 4 RBI at Knights Field where the Seattle Knights beat the San Diego Braves by the score of 8 to 5.
Suarez enjoyed a big evening at the plate. He ripped a solo home run in the 5th inning and doubled clearing the bases in the 6th inning. Seattle out-hit San Diego for the game, 11 hits to 7.
Matt Moore(4-0) went 2 and 1/3 innings allowing no runs for the victory. Jordan Romano recorded his 17th save. Michael Rucker(2-3) ended up with the loss in relief. He pitched 1 and 1/3 innings allowing 5 hits and 2 walks.
