Altuve Drives in Everybody as Highlanders Walk-Off Saints; Stroman, Hernandez Help Browns Corral Col

New York (UBAN) - Jose Altuve had 2 base hits and 3 RBI and Ryan Borucki had a strong outing as the New York Highlanders won a heart-stopping victory over the Salt Lake City Saints, 3 to 2.
New York scored the deciding run in the bottom of the 9th inning. After an out was recorded, Tyler O'Neill drew a walk. Ezequiel Duran was a strikeout victim, unable to help out. Robbie Grossman then drew a walk. Altuve was up next and he doubled resulting in a mighty exciting win for New York and the 46,348 home town fans in attendance. New York ended up with 9 hits for the game while Salt Lake City had 5.
Luke Jackson(6-3) was the winner allowing no runs in 1 and 1/3 innings. Caleb Ferguson(3-6) took the loss in relief. He gave up 1 run and 1 hit in 2 and 1/3 innings.
New York extended their winning streak to 6 games. 'We're on quite a roll lately' said Eddie Murray. 'I just hope we can keep it going.'
Marcus Stroman went 8 solid innings as the St. Louis Browns bested the Dallas Colts 2 to 1 at Globe Life Field.
The game was decided in the 9th inning. Teoscar Hernandez blasted a solo shot. St. Louis had only 4 hits for the game.
Stroman(11-3) picked up the victory, allowing 1 run in 8 innings. Stroman was helped out by Felix Bautista who recorded his 28th save. Pete Fairbanks(6-2) absorbed the loss in relief.
St. Louis now has a record of 59-69. With the loss, the Dallas ballclub's record is 66-61.
