Senga Fans 16 as Allghenys Drop Chiefs; Larnach Homers 3 Times as Longhorns Wakl-Off Islanders in 10

Atlanta (UBAN) - Mike Moustakas hit a homerun and had 3 RBI and Kodai Senga struck out 16 batters as the Pittsburgh Alleghenys defeated the Atlanta Chiefs by a score of 8 to 3 at Truist Park.
Senga(9-9) was very good in the win. He was stingy on the mound, allowing just 3 hits and 6 walks in 8 innings. Pittsburgh simply wore out the Atlanta pitching staff, scoring in 6 different innings.
Kyle Bradish(10-7) absorbed the loss. He got hit pretty hard, allowing 9 hits and 4 walks in 6 and 2/3 innings. 'Everything felt great' Senga said. 'I had a good fastball, I felt I could throw it by everybody tonight.'
Trevor Larnach knocked 3 homeruns and had 6 RBI at Longhorn Stadium as the Indianapolis Longhorns beat the Hawaii Islanders in 10 innings 8 to 6.
The game was deadlocked at 5 after nine full innings. Finally, Indianapolis prevailed in the 10th inning. After an out was recorded, Edward Olivares jump-started the rally as he was hit by a pitch. Drew Waters got his turn next, but he was a strikeout victim. Larnach then lost the ball over the fence for three runs resulting in a mighty exciting win for Indianapolis and the 30,186 home town fans in attendance. Indianapolis totaled 10 hits on the night.
The winning pitcher was A.J. Smith-Shawver(3-1) who allowed 1 run in 1 and 1/3 innings. Scott McGough(6-9) was given the loss in relief. Indianapolis now has a record of 52-82. With the loss Hawaii now has a record of 62-73, worst in the division.
