Goldschmidt's the Diffence as Knights Edge Seals; Blues Come Back to Edge Highlanders

Seattle (UBAN) - Johan Oviedo had a strong outing as the mighty Seattle Knights topped the San Francisco Seals by a score of 2 to 1 at Knights Field.
Seattle scored the deciding run in the bottom of the 8th inning. After two were out Paul Goldschmidt cracked a solo homerun. San Francisco threatened in the 9th but their rally came up short.
The win went to Chris Martin(4-2) who allowed no runs in 1 and 1/3 innings. Martin got help from Kenley Jansen who earned his 10th save. Jason Adam(7-4) was charged with the loss in relief.
Seattle now has a record of a division leading 87-50. With the loss, the San Francisco ballclub's record is 82-54.
In a good matchup it was the phenomenal New Orleans Blues 4, the New York Highlanders 2 at The House of Blues.
New Orleans came through with the game-winning runs in the bottom of the 8th inning scoring 2 runs on 4 hits. Jorge Soler led off the inning for New Orleans when he doubled. After an out was recorded, Adley Rutschman stepped up to the plate and he delivered a one-base hit. Wilmer Flores then slapped a base-hit driving in a run. Spencer Steer came up and he delivered a single scoring the final run of the inning. New Orleans banged out 7 hits on the night.
The victory was credited to Colin Holderman(2-0) who went 2 innings, allowing no runs. The losing pitcher was Jacob Webb(5-4) in relief.
