Diaz Collects 4 hits as Knights Complete Sweep of Blues; Black Panther Party Clubs 7 Homers in Rout

New Orleans (UBAN) - Yainer Diaz had 4 hits and 3 RBI at The House of Blues as the Seattle Knights beat the New Orleans Blues 8 to 2.
Diaz was a thorn in the side of the hometown fans as he enjoyed a fine day at their team's expense. He doubled in the 1st inning, clubbed a two-run home run in the 3rd inning, delivered a base-hit which plated a run in the 4th inning and slapped a single in the 6th inning. Seattle simply wore out the
New Orleans pitching staff, scoring in 6 different innings.
The win went to Gavin Williams(8-1) who allowed 2 runs in 7 innings. Alex Cobb(13-6) was the loser. He allowed Seattle 4 runs in 2 and 2/3 innings of work.
Left fielder Matt Wallner slammed 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI at Otter Park as the Oakland Black Panther Party beat the Chicago Otters by the count of 16 to 10.
Wallner really lit it up for Oakland. The Chicago fans let him have it for what he did to their boys. He stroked a single in the 1st inning, banged out a one-base hit plating a run in the 4th inning, smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' in the 6th inning and smashed a two-run homer in the 7th inning. Oakland kept the scorekeepers busy in the 7th inning which saw them plate 4 runs on 3 hits. The Oakland offense poured it on, scoring in 7 of the 9 innings.
Matthew Liberatore(7-10) went 5 innings allowing 4 runs for the win. Corbin Burnes(14-7) took the loss. He served up 4 homeruns in his 2 innings.
