Wranglers Rally to Scuttle Islanders in 10; LA Completes Sweep of Knights

Honolulu (UBAN) - 16,287 fans watched an exciting game at Aloha Stadium. The San Antonio Wranglers topped the Hawaii Islanders by the slimmest of margins, 5 to 4.
Both teams had scored 4 runs after nine full innings. San Antonio came out the victor in the 10th inning. After two were out Andrew Chafin came up and he bounced one in the dirt for a wild pitch. Daulton Varsho stepped into the batter's box and he lashed a single scoring the run. San Antonio finished with just 5 hits in the victory.
The victory went to Devin Williams(4-5) who went 2 innings, allowing 1 run. Chafin(3-5) was given the loss in relief. He was a hard-luck loser, pitching 1 inning and not allowing an earned run.
In a good matchup it was the Los Angeles Angels 4, the Seattle Knights 2 at Angel Stadium.
Los Angeles promptly took the lead in their half of the first scoring 2 runners on 1 hit. The biggest moment was provided by Adolis Garcia who came through for the home fans when he lifted one out of the park for a two run home run. Los Angeles banged out 9 hits on the night.
The win was credited to Michael King(11-2) who went 5 innings allowing 1 run. Andres Munoz recorded the save, his 16th. Johan Oviedo(10-9) was the losing pitcher. He allowed 6 hits and 2 walks in 5 innings.
