Braves Blank Aguilas for 15th Straight; Seals Edge Knights to Pull Even in Pacific

Mexico City (UBAN) - Ryan Pepiot took a no-hitter into the 6th inning as the sizzling San Diego Braves outscored the Mexico City Aguilas Doradas 1 to 0.
Pepiot(11-2) was simply too much for the Mexico City batters. He allowed just 1 hit and 1 walk in 7 innings. Pepiot racked up 9 strikeouts reducing his ERA from 2.87 to 2.62. The right-handed Pepiot lost his no-hit bid when Mookie Betts doubled with one out in the 6th inning. Mexico City had a chance in the 9th but they came up short.

Alexis Diaz recorded the save, his 19th. Jose Leclerc(3-4) was tagged with the loss in relief. He pitched 2 and 2/3 innings giving up 2 hits and 1 walk.
