Semien Leads Hit Barrage as Alleghenys Double Up marlins in Game One

Pittsburgh (UBAN) - Marcus Semien collected four base hits, scored twice and had 2 RBI at PNC Park where the Pittsburgh Alleghenys beat the Miami Marlins by the score of 10 to 5 to take a one game advantage in the best-of-three series.
Luis Castillo(1-0) delivered a fine performance for Pittsburgh. He went 7 and 2/3 innings allowing 9 hits and 2 walks. Castillo recorded 8 strikeouts. Pittsburgh had 17 hits for the game and Miami had 10.
Castillo was helped out by Jordan Weems who recorded his 1st save. Max Fried(0-1) absorbed the loss. He got hit pretty hard, allowing 8 hits and 3 walks in 5 innings.
