Skubal Fans 10 Aguilas as Knights Make Day 1 a Sweep for the Home Teams

Seattle (UBAN) - Shortstop J.P. Crawford had 2 base hits and Tarik Skubal racked up an impressive total of 11 strikeouts at Knights Field where the Seattle Knights beat the Mexico City Aguilas Doradas 5 to 1.
Skubal(1-0) was solid in the win. He didn't allow much, just 5 hits and 1 walk in 7 innings. After the 3rd inning, neither team was able to score.
Merrill Kelly(0-1) was the loser. He got hammered, allowing 6 hits and 3 walks in 2 and 2/3 innings. Skubal was jubilant in the hometown clubhouse, 'It was a lot of fun out there. The fans gave me a lot of support as did my teammates. We got the victory and I'll sure take 11 strikeouts anytime!'
