Wranglers Put on Power Display Early, Then Hang On to Best Otters for 2 - 0 Series Lead

San Antonio (UBAN) - in a game featuring six homeruns, the San Antonio Wranglers edged the Chicago Otters at Wranglers Park by the score of 6 to 5 to take a 2 - 0 lead in the Division Series.
Manny Machado and Seiya Suzuki blasted two-run homers as the Wranglers built an early 5- 1 lead. The Wranglers closed to within a run in the top of the 8th but left the bases loaded.
Logan Gilbert(1-0) gave San Antonio a solid outing. He went 7 and 2/3 innings surrendering 7 hits and no walks and gave up 2 homeruns. Devin Williams pitched a perfect ninth to earn his 1st save.
Domingo German(0-1) absorbed the loss. He served up 4 gopher balls in 6 and 2/3 innings.
