Stanton Delivers Game-Winner in 8th Inning to Keep Aguilas' Hopes Alive in a Game 5

Mexico City (UBAN) - Giancarlo Stanton delivered a clutch pinch-hit two run home run and Camilo Doval shut Chicago down at El Nido de Aguilas as the Mexico City Aguilas Doradas beat the Chicago Otters 7 to 6.
Stanton came to the plate as a pinch-hitter with one on and one out in the bottom of the 8th inning and sent a 2 - 1 curve ball from Corbin Burnes deep down the left-field line, giving the Aguilas their fainl margin of victory.
Caleb Thielbar(2-0) was the winning pitcher with a solid relief performance. He surrendered only 1 hit and no walks in 1 inning. A wild and woolly affair, this game saw the lead change 5 times. Doval gained credit for his 2nd save. Corbin Burnes(0-2) took the loss.
Catcher William Contreras slammed 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI but despite his efforts, it wasn't enough to put Chicago over the top.
