New York (UBAN) - The Mexico City Aguilas Doradas had very little trouble at Babe Ruth Park downing the New York Highlanders to take Game 1 of the UBA Championship best-of-seven. The score was 6 to 1.
Mookie Betts enjoyed a fine evening at the plate. He doubled in the 1st inning, laced a one-base hit scoring a run in the 5th inning and cleared the fences for a two-run home run in the 7th inning. Mexico City won despite being out-hit by New York 10 hits to 7.
