Highlanders Take Page From Aguilas Playbook as Raleigh Hits Walk-Off Slam

New York (UBAN) - Cal Raleigh recorded 4 RBI with one swing when he ripped a grand slam at Babe Ruth Park where the New York Highlanders beat the Mexico City Aguilas Doradas in 13 innings by the score of 10 to 6 to pull even in the UBA Championship Series.
The score was tied at 5 after nine. New York won the hard fought contest in the 13th inning. The key at-bat was by Raleigh who brought a roar from the partisan Babe Ruth Park fans when he cleared the bases with a Grand Slam homerun. New York had 17 hits for the night while Mexico City had 10.
Sam Moll(2-1) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 2/3 of an inning. Tommy Kahnle(0-1) was the losing pitcher in relief. He gave up 2 runs in 1 inning and saw his ERA jump from 0.93 to 2.53.
The action shifts to Mexico City for Game #3 on Sunday night.
