Aguilas Win Heart-Stopper With Betts 3-Run Walk-Off in 12th

Mexico City (UBAN) - Merrill Kelly dominated striking out 12 New York batters and Mookie Betts had 4 hits and 3 RBI as the Mexico City Aguilas Doradas defeated the New York Highlanders in 12 innings by the score of 9 to 6 at El Nido de Aguilas. The Aguilas now take a 3 - 2 Series' lead back to New York for Game #6 on Thursday night.
The score was tied at 6 after nine. Mexico City came out on top in the 12th inning. After two were out Ty France was the sparkplug when he hit a single. Ji-Hwan Bae came to the plate and delivered a single. Betts then rifled a three-run blast making Mexico City the victor and beginning a joyous home
town celebration. The score went back-and-forth with the lead changing 5 times.
Aroldis Chapman(3-0) got credit for the victory, pitching 2 innings and allowing no runs. Sam Moll(3-2) was given the loss in relief. He gave up 3 runs and 3 hits in 1 inning.
