San Antonio's Ace - Sonny Gray - Walks Away with the West's Denny Award

Baltimore (UBAN) - The FBBWAA has rewarded the UBA's only 20-game winner with the highest of pitching honors: Sonny Gray of the San Antonio Wranglers is the 2024 Western Conference Denny McLain AWard winner.
And what a season it was for Gray, who finished with a 20 - 5 record and an incredible 11.1 WAR. His 1.79 ERA also led the majors among qualifying pitchers as did his 0.53 home runs per nine innings. Opponents hit an even .200 against Gray, a number reflected in his 1.06 WHIP.
