Horwitz Hammers Two Homers in Bisons' Win; Tovar Homer Pushes Otters Past Knights

Buffalo (UBAN) - Spencer Horwitz smacked 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI at Sal Maglie Stadium as the Buffalo Bisons beat the Toledo Mud Hens 5 to 4.
Horwitz provided much of the offense. He smacked a three-run homer in the 3rd inning and lofted a solo-blast 'downtown' in the 8th inning. Toledo threatened in the 9th but their rally came up short.
Aroldis Chapman(1-0) was the winner allowing no runs in 2 innings. Clay Holmes gained credit for his 5th save. Michel Otanez(0-1) was charged with the loss in relief.
'It was a tough one to lose' said Caitlin Clark 'We'll get them next time out.'
In Seattle, The Chicago Otters nipped the struggling Seattle Knights 6 to 5 at Knights Field in a hard fought contest.
The game was decided in the 9th inning. After an out was recorded, Ezequiel Tovar ripped a solo home run. It was roller coaster of a game as the lead change hands 5 times.
The victory went to Adrian Morejon(2-0) who went 1 and 1/3 innings, allowing 1 run. Cole Sands earned the save, his 2nd. Yuki Matsui(0-1) suffered the loss in relief.
