Angels Fall to Knight Behind Crawford, Gomber; Pages' Homer the Difference as Browns Edge Black Pan

Los Angeles (UBAN) - Shortstop J.P. Crawford smacked 2 homeruns as the Seattle Knights beat the Los Angeles Angels by a score of 8 to 5.

Seattle erupted with the game winning runs in the 8th inning when they tallied 4 runs on 5 hits. Seattle had 12 hits overall, while Los Angeles had 8.

Austin Gomber(2-1) went 8 innings allowing 5 runs for the win. Carlos Estevez gained credit for his 3rd save. Tyson Miller(0-1) took the loss in relief. He surrended 3 homeruns in his MillerI.

The St. Louis Browns nipped the Oakland Black Panthers 3 to 2 at Black Panther Park in a hard fought contest.

St. Louis had 2 runs cross the plate in the 2nd inning. Andrew Vaughn led off the inning for St. Louis when he ripped a single. Vaughn was running on the next pitch and he stole second. After an out was recorded, Gleyber Torres then drew a walk. Pedro Pages stepped in and he lifted one out of the park for a two run home run. Oakland had a chance to come back in the 9th but they came up short.

Marcus Stroman(2-1) picked up the victory, allowing 1 run in 6 and 1/3 innings. Craig Kimbrel recorded the save, his 2nd. Simeon Woods-Richard(2-1) took the loss.

'Fundamentals, fundamentals, fundamentals' said Frank Robinson after the game. 'We lost this game tonight because we didn't follow the instructions every Little Leaguer hears every day.'
