Wranglers Beat Down Braves Behind Pederson, Luzardo; Bohm Leads Sounds to Sweep of Marauders

San Antonio (UBAN) - Joc Pederson rocketed 2 homeruns and scored 3 times at Wranglers Park where the San Antonio Wranglers beat the San Diego Braves by the score of 9 to 3.
The San Antonio fans enjoyed the offense provided by Pederson. He smashed a solo-shot out of the park in the 3rd inning, lofted a solo-blast 'downtown' in the 4th inning and laced a single in the 7th inning. Neither team managed to score after the 4th inning.
The win went to Jesus Luzardo(1-0) who allowed 3 runs in 7 innings. Spencer Arrighetti(0-2) was charged with the loss. He pitched 2/3 of an inning allowing 4 hits and 1 walk.
In Memphis, Alec Bohm hit 2 doubles and scored 3 times as the Nashville Sounds defeated the slumping Memphis Marauders by a score of 5 to 3 at Marauders Park.
Nashville scored 2 runs in the decisive 6th inning. Nashville finished with just 5 hits in the victory. The victory went to Hayden Birdsong(1-2) who went 5 innings, allowing 3 runs. Manuel Rodriguez earned his 1st save. Andre Pallante(0-3) took the loss.
