Crews Drives in 5 to Lead Islanders; Lopez Fans 10 as M's Drop Saints

Miami (UBAN) - Right fielder Dylan Crews cracked 2 homeruns and had 5 RBI as the Hawaii Islanders bested the Miami Marlins 11 to 6 at Marlins Park.
Crews enjoyed a great day at the plate. He ripped a solo home run in the 2nd inning, clubbed a two-run home run in the 4th inning and ripped a base-knock plating a run in the 6th inning. Hawaii dominated offensively as they scored in 6 different innings.
Sean Manaea(4-1) got the win allowing 6 runs in 8 innings. Joey Wentz(2-2) was given the loss in relief. Hawaii now has a record of 18-14. With the loss, the Miami ballclub's record is 10-21, worst in the division.
In Memphis, Reynaldo Lopez reeled off a total of 10 strikeouts at Marauders Park as the Marauders beat the Salt Lake City Saints by the count of 4 to 1.
Lopez(4-3) was in control of the game from the outset. He allowed just 6 hits and no walks in 8 innings lowering his ERA from 4.39 to 3.86. Ryan Walker was great in relief and recorded his 6th save.
The losing pitcher was Brayan Bello(1-3). The Memphis fans were thrilled by the performance put forth by Lopez, but it was clearly his strikeouts that they enjoyed most. 'When he reached 10 strikeouts the fans showed him their appreciation with a loud cheer.' Joe Rudi said following the game.
