France Leads Homer Barrage in Aguilas' Rout of Alleghenys; Islanders Rally to Walk-Off Seals

Pittsburgh (UBAN) - First baseman Ty France smacked 2 homeruns and Hunter Brown went 8 solid innings at PNC Park as the Mexico City Aguilas Doradas, running on all cylinders, ripped the Pittsburgh Alleghenys by a large 12 to 0 margin.
France was a seemingly constant irritant to the hometown fans as he provided much of the offense for the visitors. He ripped a solo home run in the 6th inning and emptied the bases with a Grand Slam homerun in the 9th inning. Pittsburgh was out-hit by Mexico City, 12 hits to 4.
Brown(4-2) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 8 innings. Keider Montero(1-3) was charged with the loss. He was touched for 3 homeruns in his 5 and 2/3 innings of work.
In Honolulul, Mitch Keller racked up an impressive total of 10 strikeouts and Elly De La Cruz collected 2 extra-base hits and had 3 RBI as the Hawaii Islanders rallied impressively to win in dramatic style over San Francisco Seals, 6 to 5.
Hawaii scored the decisive runs in a big bottom of the 9th inning plating 2 runs utilizing 3 base hits. After an out was recorded, Riley Adams opened up the rally as he ripped a single. Connor Joe came to the plate and drew a walk. De La Cruz then ripped a one-base hit plating a run. Jurickson Profar followed, but he was set down on strikes. Michael Harris stepped into the box and delivered a single resulting in a mighty exciting win for Hawaii and the 47,144 home town fans in attendance. Hawaii totaled 10 hits on the night.
The win went to Derek Law(1-2) who allowed 1 run in 1 and 1/3 innings. Raisel Iglesias(1-1) was charged with the loss in relief. 'Now there is a lesson in perseverance for you,' De La Cruz noted. 'It was looking pretty dim there for a while, but we just kept plugging away and it really paid off in spades! And it was great to see the crowd go crazy there at the end!'
