Harper Seals the Deal with 12th Inning Slam; Longhorns Rally in 9th for 6th Straight

Vancouver (UBAN) - Jason Adam came through with a solid 3 innings and Bryce Harper recorded 4 RBI with one swing when he ripped a grand slam as the San Francisco Seals defeated the Vancouver Death Lemurs in 12 innings by the score of 5 to 2 at Death Lemur Field.
The game was deadlocked at 1 after nine full innings. San Francisco won the game in the 12th inning. The key offensive moment was provided by Harper who quieted the crowd when he blasted a Grand Slam homerun. San Francisco totaled 9 hits on the afternoon.
The winning pitcher was Jake Cousins(2-0) who allowed 1 run in 2 innings. Yimi Garcia(0-2) was charged with the loss in relief. He gave up 2 hits and 1 walk in 1 and 1/3 innings.

Pete Crow-Armstrong was up next and he was walked intentionally to load the bases. Alex Jackson came up to bat and lashed a single giving Indianapolis the victory as 40,543 happy fans celebrated wildly. Both teams totaled 8 hits on the night.
