Knights Shut Down Wranglers Behind Valdez, Estevez; Ragans Pitches Saints Past Lab Rats

San Antonio (UBAN) - Framber Valdez went 8 solid innings as the Seattle Knights defeated the San Antonio Wranglers in 10 innings by a score of 2 to 1 at Wranglers Park.
The score was knotted at 1 after nine innings. Finally, Seattle pulled the game out in the 10th inning. After an out was recorded, Josh Lowe doubled scoring the run. Seattle had 8 hits overall, while San Antonio had 5.
The victory was credited to Carlos Estevez(2-0) who went 2 innings, allowing 1 run. Ryan Thompson(1-1) ended up with the loss in relief. It was a tough loss for him as he did not allow an earned run in his 1 inning of work.
Cole Ragans came through with a solid 8 innings at Saints Field as the Salt Lake City Saints beat the Richmond Lab Rats by the count of 6 to 1.
Ragans(6-1) came through with a virtuoso performance against the Richmond hitters. He didn't give up much, just 1 hit and no walks in 8 innings. Ragans mowed down 9 Richmond batters reducing his ERA from 2.44 to 2.13. Richmond was out-hit by Salt Lake City, 15 hits to 2.
The loss was charged to Zack Littell(4-4). He was knocked around, surrendering 6 runs in 4 and 1/3 innings.
