Snell Strikes Out 11 Otters in Longhorns' Rout; Jacks Score 10 Late to Run Away from Lab Rats

Indianapolis (UBAN) - Blake Snell dominated striking out 11 Chicago batters at Longhorn Stadium as the incredible Indianapolis Longhorns beat the Chicago Otters 9 to 1.
Snell(4-0) contributed a very nicely pitched game. He allowed only 1 hit and 2 walks in 7 innings. Indianapolis had 9 hits for the night.
Bryse Wilson(0-2) was hit with the loss. Yadier Molina was asked about the performance of Snell, 'He had his good stuff out there tonight. The fans really get into it when the strikeouts start mounting up - and that seems to give him even more adrenalin.'
First baseman Christian Walker hit one over the fence and had 4 RBI as the Jacksonville Jacks defeated the Richmond Lab Rats by a score of 12 to 4 at Lab Rat Stadium.
Walker enjoyed a big evening at the plate. He delivered a one-base hit in the 2nd inning, slapped a single plating two runs in the 8th inning and cracked a two-run shot in the 9th inning. Richmond was out-hit by Jacksonville, 15 hits to 6.
Wandy Peralta(3-0) got credit for the victory, pitching 1 inning and allowing no runs. Edwin Diaz recorded his 1st save. Ryan Fernandez(2-2) took the loss in relief. He gave up 3 runs and 1 hit without retiring a batter.
