Marte, Musgrove Lead Sluggers Over Alleghenys; Soto Homers Twice in Aguilas' Win

Pittsburgh (UBAN) - Joe Musgrove came through with a solid 7 innings and right fielder Starling
Marte went yard and had 3 RBI as the Louisville Sluggers clobbered the outmatched Pittsburgh Alleghenys, 11 to 1.
Louisville jumped on top to stay in the 3rd inning scoring 2 runners on 3 hits. That early scoring was all that Musgrove(4-3) needed. Louisville had 14 hits for the afternoon.
Kyle Freeland(5-3) absorbed the loss. He gave up 5 runs in 3 and 2/3 innings of work.
Juan Soto ripped 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Mexico City Aguilas Doradas defeated the Oakland Black Panthers by the score of 4 to 3 at El Nido de Aguilas.
The home town fans were very appreciative of the fine hitting performance provided by Soto. He cleared the fences for a two-run home run in the 1st inning and smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' in the 6th inning. Mexico City managed 9 hits in their victory.
The win was credited to Ryan Yarbrough(2-0) who went 4 and 2/3 innings allowing no runs. Camilo Doval recorded the save, his 7th. Spencer Turnbull(0-3) was the loser in relief. He struggled with his control issuing 5 walks in 2 and 2/3 innings.
