Fitzgerald Leads BPP Comeback Win Over Aguilas; McCann Drives in 6 a Elites Win

Mexico City (UBAN) - In a thriller the Oakland Black Panther Party staged a dramatic comeback then held on to win over the Mexico City Aguilas Doradas by a score of 5 to 3 at El Nido de Aguilas.

Oakland came up with the deciding runs in the 9th inning with 3 runs utilizing 3 base hits. After an out was recorded, Jackson Chourio was the sparkplug when he delivered a base-hit. Mark Vientos next to the plate and he stroked a single. Tyler Fitzgerald then lost the ball over the fence for three runs. Oakland had a total of 8 hits for the game.

The win was credited to Bryce Jarvis(1-1) who went 2/3 of an inning allowing 1 run. Jarvis got help from Kirby Yates who earned his 7th save. Brennan Bernardino(0-1) was charged with the loss in relief. He pitched 1 and 2/3 innings giving up 2 hits and 1 walk.

Designated hitter Kyle McCann had 4 hits and 6 RBI and Michael Soroka struck out 10 batters as the Baltimore Elite Giants defeated the Buffalo Bisons by the score of 9 to 3 at Sal Maglie Stadium.

McCann was a source of great heartache for the Buffalo faithful all day. He just kept pounding out hits! He slapped a one-base hit in the 2nd inning, lofted a three-run bomb in the 3rd inning, doubled bringing in a run in the 5th inning and doubled bringing in two baserunners in the 6th inning. For the game Baltimore out-hit Buffalo 13 to 7.

The victory was credited to Soroka(2-2) who went 5 innings, allowing no runs. Jack Kochanowicz(1-2) suffered the loss. 'I was really seeing the ball today,' McCann said 'I wish it was always this easy.'
