Pederson Powers Wranglers Past Buffalo in Slugfest Win; Islanders Plate 4 in 9th to Walk-Off 'Horns

Buffalo (UBAN) - Joc Pederson slammed 2 homeruns as the San Antonio Wranglers outscored the Buffalo Bisons 10 to 8.
Pederson enjoyed a fine day at the plate. He emptied the bases with a Grand Slam homerun in the 6th inning and cracked a solo homerun in the 8th inning. Buffalo tried unsuccessfully to come back in the 9th.
Huascar Brazoban(2-1) went 1 and 1/3 innings allowing no runs for the victory. Brazoban got help from Devin Williams who earned his 8th save. J.T. Chargois(2-1) was the loser in relief.
Center fielder Byron Buxton smacked 2 homeruns in a losing cause for Buffalo.
It was a great finish at Aloha Stadium as the Hawaii Islanders pulled off a dramatic comeback beating the Indianapolis Longhorns by the count of 6 to 5.
Hawaii scored the decisive runs in a big bottom of the 9th inning when they scored 4 runs on 5 hits. Hawaii finished with 9 hits in the victory.
The win was credited to Kenta Maeda(2-7) who went 2 and 1/3 innings allowing 1 run. Robert Suarez(3-1) suffered the loss in relief. 'That was exciting!,' Yandy Diaz said. 'I would have paid money to watch this one.'
