Memphis (UBAN) - Left fielder Sam Hilliard launched 2 homeruns and had 5 RBI at Marauders Park where the Memphis Marauders beat the San Francisco Seals by the score of 7 to 2.
Hilliard enjoyed a fine evening at the plate. He smashed a two-run homer in the 5th inning and blasted a two-run home run in the 7th inning. Memphis had a total of 7 hits for the game.
Zack Kelly(4-1) got the win allowing no runs in 2 and 1/3 innings. The loss was charged to Pablo Lopez(4-5). He surrendered 4 runs and 5 hits in 6 and 1/3 innings.
Cody Bellinger smashed 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the Baltimore Elite Giants defeated the Indianapolis Longhorns by the score of 5 to 3 at Roy Campanella Field.
Bellinger had a good evening at the plate. He smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' in the 5th inning and rifled a three-run blast in the 6th inning. Baltimore totaled 8 hits on the night.
The win was credited to Aaron Bummer(1-1) who went 1 and 1/3 innings allowing 1 run. Emmanuel Clase earned his 11th save. Jose Ruiz(0-1) ended up with the loss in relief.
